| + | Yesterday I've seen a very simple plastic camera at ebay, labeled "Nicca", nearly like a toy camera, in the original plastic bag in which it had been sold, maybe around 1970. It all looked terribly cheap. I don't know if Yashica would have produced such an item. Maybe they have borrowed the label to another camera maker at that time. U. Kulick, 15 May 2006 | ||

Non-Yashica late "Nicca" cameras?
We read: Later the name Nicca seems to have been used as brand name by someone else for cheap cameras, may be by Yashica. What evidence is there that the "Nicca" brand might have been used by any company other than Yashica? -- Hoary 04:54, 15 May 2006 (EDT)
Yesterday I've seen a very simple plastic camera at ebay, labeled "Nicca", nearly like a toy camera, in the original plastic bag in which it had been sold, maybe around 1970. It all looked terribly cheap. I don't know if Yashica would have produced such an item. Maybe they have borrowed the label to another camera maker at that time. U. Kulick, 15 May 2006
