Is there a way of making the page title 'Mir', instead of 'MIR'?--Dustin McAmera 19:19, 1 March 2011 (PST)

Hi Süleyman! I think I may have spoiled our chance of doing it easily, just by asking the question; there's a 'Move' you can do, moving the whole page to a new name, and automatically moving links too, but only if there's nothing on the discussion page (or something like that). So it's probably my fault. :( We could copy the page contents to a new page called Mir, and repair all the links to it manually, then the administrators could delete the existing page. I'm not sure it's that big a problem! By the way, you have some nice cameras! --Dustin McAmera 11:38, 17 March 2011 (PDT)
- I think you guys are correct, "Mir" is apparently a Russian noun and not a TLA (three letter acronym). I will delete the current "Mir" redirect page, and move the content of this page to it. Then MIR will redirect to Mir, so any inbound links should end up in the right place. Let me know if there's any wrinkles I overlooked, though! --Vox 22:14, 17 March 2011 (PDT)

Thanks Pete :) You have very nice collection and photos also :) Indeed, when I tried to move the page to a new name, the answer was you can not do cause there is a page with the same name, MIR capital letters = Mir smal letters :)) So thanks to Ross :)--Dr.Süleyman Demir 04:40, 18 March 2011 (PDT)
