How Many Different Versions?
From the article, this is the list I perceive as being described:
V.1 - KONICA logo in all uppercase letters, metal back lock, different film guides, metal base.
V.2 - early change turned the metal back lock into a plastic part.
V.3 - Konica logo lowercase letters, plastic base plate, serial number molded into back, with white letters.
I have a version with all capital logo letters, "KONICA" but it has a plastic base plate - it doesn't seem to fit in any of the versions listed on the main page. My question is this - I thought the plastic base plate version didn't come along until the Konica logo letters were in lower case, "Konica." The serial number, however, is lower than my other two first version KONICA models. How could there be a KONICA version with a plastic base plate that has a lower serial number than first version KONICA models that have a metal base plate? The serial numbers for my two first version KONICA models, with metal base plates, are "270185" and "302628." The serial number on the first version KONICA model, with a plastic base plate, is "131850." See my quandary? Are there any Konica Autoreflex experts out there anywhere?
