Monster lens

Kiron 24mm f/2.0

Really? (Indeed, even a 28mm f/2.0 would be pretty extraordinary.) -- Hoarier 17:44, 14 February 2012 (PST)

Yes, I'm trying to find a photo of one those to add! Steevithak 18:44, 14 February 2012 (PST)
Hmm, the 28/2 doesn't look even slightly extraordinary; maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. -- Hoarier 04:58, 15 February 2012 (PST)

Re: Vivitar vs Ponder and Best - The corporate name change to Vivitar occurred in 1979, so I think Vivitar is probably a better choice here. Technically Kino made lenses for them before and after the name change, but they're most well known for the Vivitar Series 1 lenses made after the company became Vivitar. Sorry, my misunderstanding there. I'd mistakenly thought that the name change was much later. -- Hoarier 19:53, 14 February 2012 (PST)
