Spencer is a company name seen on some cameras originating from Chicago, Illinois, USA. It is one of the tangle of related brands including Spartus, Monarck, etc. all located on W. Lake Street[1], in the middle decades of the 20th century.
A few cameras appeared under the Spencer brand:
- Spencer Full-Vue (this is not related to the Ensign Ful-Vue)
- Flex-Master (likely a variant of the Monarck Flex-Master)
Notes
- ↑ In this 1947 ad for Spartus cameras, note "The Spencer Company" at 715 West Lake Street is shown as the company name at the bottom of the page.
