Sony's most successful compact system camera Sony α6000 was introduced in 2014 and listed as actual Sony product until today. It inherited much of the two top Sony NEX models' conception, i.e. from the NEX-7 of 2011 and NEX-6 of 2012, which both already had an internal electronic viewfinder, additionally to the typical tiltable rear monitor of the NEX series. In addition, the α6000 got a much mightier imaging sensor with a higher light sensitivity.
