The Semi Solon (セミソロン) is a Japanese 4.5×6 folding camera, distributed by Ueda Shashinki-ten in 1940 and 1941.[1] It is a copy of the Nettar 4.5×6 model, with straight folding struts, a folding optical finder and a body release. The front leather is embossed SOLON.

In advertisements dated December 1940[2] and January 1941[3], it is offered with a Solon Anastigmat f/4.5 lens in two shutter options:

  • T, B, 5–200 speeds (¥74);
  • T, B, 1–200 speeds (¥88).[4]
