There are several models in the L-758 line. '''L-758D''', '''L-758DR''' and '''L-758Cine'''. They are based on the same basic design with minor differences between them. The L-758D is the most basic but is not sold in all regions. The L-758DR has a radio unit built-in to trigger flash remotely. The 758Cine as the name implies has more features for film and video. Additional features not on the other models include the ability to measure incident light in lux, foot-candle, foot-lambert and cd/m2. A wider shutter angle is possible from 1 to 180° and adjustable filter factor.

The Sekonic L-758 Digital Master is a series of hand held digital exposure meters with the abililty to measure ambient and flash light. While capable of incident and reflective readings, they also have a built-in view finder for use as a 1° spot meter. The L-758 was first introduced in 2001.

There are several models in the L-758 line. L-758D, L-758DR and L-758Cine.

As an option, a radio unit can be installed in the L-758D and the L-758Cine. Special care needs to be considered for radio triggering as frequencies differ in various countries. The meter's radio triggering frequencies are preset for a specific region[1]. Compatibility issues may arise when transceiver and receiver frequencies are not aligned.
