The Seikosha-MX is a leaf shutter made by Seikōsha, the manufacturing branch of Hattori Tokei-ten. It is an evolution of the Seikosha-Rapid, with added MX synchronization. It appeared in 1955 in #00 size and in 1956 in #00 size.[1]

The Seikosha-MXL is a variant equipped with the light value system, introduced in 1956 in #00 size only.[2]
