Schneider or Schneider-Kreuznach (Jos. Schneider Optische Werke GmbH) has been designing and manufacturing high quality lenses for cameras and other optical instruments since 1913. Over 14 million precision Schneider lenses have been sold worldwide. Schneider camera lenses are renowned for their quality, and have equipped many fine cameras, including the Alpa 12WA and 12/SWA, Rollei 6006, and the Linhof Technorama panoramic camera. As lens supplier for Kodak Schneider is also present in the mass market. Schneider even meets highest demands with its lenses for repro cameras and for television cameras.
