The Samyang 8mm 1:3.5 Fish-Eye SI is an extraordinary product of South-Korea's lens maker Samyang. It is marketed by German distributor Foto Walser as WalimexPro 8mm 1:3.5 Fish-Eye CS.

It is an extremely fast fish-eye type ultra-wide-angle lens. It is available as manual focusing lens in variants for several different lens mounts. Early models have a fixed hood, later it was made removable. Due to the curvature of the lens it is not possible to fit filters.

A version aimed primarily at video cameras has gearing on the aperture and focus rings, T-stop aperture settings (starting at f3.8) instead of F-stop, no click positions on the aperture ring, and the aperture and distance scales marked horizonally so that they can easily be read from the side. This version is also available with mounts for various popular SLRs including Nikon, Canon, etc.
