The Pokémon Camera is a plastic 35mm toy camera, based on the popular Japanese TV & toy series.

The camera features a beautifully carved Pikachu design. The shutter release is the Diglett on the top, which has a frame counter in a small round hole next to it. The shutter is single-speed, and the aperture and focus are fixed. The switch below the lens closes the lens and locks the shutter. The back hinges open, and the focal plane is glazed (in plastic) - presumably to prevent small fingers getting into the mechanism. The viewfinder has a blue frame, shaped a little like the hole in front of the lens. Film advance is by a thin thumbwheel on the back.

There is space for one AA-battery in the base to power the flash.
