On the right side you can see the re-designed 135mm lens barrel. It is still heavy and made of steel, but it now has a auto-system and a six blade iris instead of the original [[Pentacon 2.8/135]]'s fifteen blades.

The lens hood is now retractable, where the old one had to be removed by screwing it off.

The one on the left is the final version. Minor cosmetic changes and choice of different colors on the scales.
