Pearl River

The Pearl River is a Chinese TLR camera taking either 12 6×6cm exposures on 120 film, or 16 6x4.5 exposures by use of a metal mask. It's a variant of the Seagull 4B, but has more plastic parts, and was made in Guangdong from the 1960s to the 1980s. The leather carrying case may be embossed "Canton Camera Manufactory." The camera's nameplate may include a diamond logo with the Chinese characters 珠江 (Zhūjiāng, i.e. Pearl River), or only roman letters in the export version.
The "Pearl River" brand appears on both 75mm f/3.5 lenses, and on the shutter offering speeds from 1/25 to 1/250 second and B. Film is advanced using a winding knob and one of two red window frame counters.
The Pearl River was derived from the Five-Goats, which only took 6x6 frames.
