The PV-SD4090 SuperDisk PalmCam is a digital camera released by Panasonic in 2000.

It has a 1.3 megapixel CCD sensor that captures up to 1,280 x 960 pixel jpeg images. There is also a time lapse mode that lets you capture an image once every, 1, 5, 10, 30 mins, 1, 6, 12, 24 hours. The SD4090 has a 3x optical, 5.2 to 15.6mm (34 to 102mm equivalent) f2.8 to f4.7 zoom lens with a 2x digital zoom. It also has a built-in lens cover operated with a switch by the lens. The auto focus is 20cm to inf. with a shutter speed of 1/30 to 1/750 in auto mode and a 1/4 to 1/750 in slow mode. The flash has a range of 20cm to 3m. The camera back has a large, 112,000 pixel, 2.5" TFT LCD display with adjustable back light brightness control. It is powered by a 7.2v lithium ion battery and weighs 695g.

Pansonic's parent company Matsushita was the primary manufacture of the SuperDisk drives. At the time of release flash memory was still very expensive, so this camera can uses 120MB LS-120 SuperDisk, or 1.4MB High Density 3 1/2" floppy disk for media storage. The camera also has the capability to transfer photos from one disk to another. A similar model PV-SD5000 also uses this drive as well. The SuperDisk drive on the camera can be used in PC mode operating like a standard USB storage device.
