The Orchid is a Japanese 6×6 SLR prototype. It is only known from an entry in Kokusan kamera no rekishi, itself based on an article in the January 1947 issue of Ars Camera. It is said that the design of the Orchid is similar to that of the Reflex-Korelle, with a focal-plane shutter giving 5–1000 speeds and an instant-return mirror. The lens is said to be a four-element unit-focusing 85/2.7 made by Tōhō Kōgaku. No picture of the camera has been observed so far, and no surviving example is known.
