The Optima Sensor was a range of 35mm viewfinder cameras introduced by Agfa in the late 1960s and running through the 1970s. Specification is similar throughout the range.

Features include

  • automatic exposure meter
  • big viewfinder
  • big red 'Sensor' shutter release button
  • small dimensions
  • easy to operate

In most cases, the model numbers are given related to the fastest shutter speed (e.g. Optima Sensor 1035 -> 1/1000s). Excluded is the Optima Sensor 1535 with 1/1000s and a coupled rangefinder.
