The printer portion uses Polaroid type 500 film also known as Captiva film. It has a 2" colour 113,000 pixel LCD screen. Images are recorded in JPEG or TIFF with a maximum resolution of 1600×1200. Storage is usually included in the form of a 8MB SmartMedia card. A few built-in editing options included crop, brightness and sharpen are also available.
