The Olympus AM-100 (Infinity S in the US) of 1987 was a fully automatic compact camera that used 3-point zone focus to keep the price lower than autofocus rivals. Buttons on the front altered the focus distance from the fixed medium to a close-up (0.5-1m) or infinity. This camera was known as the "Picasso Petit" in Japan. The original price was ¥24,800 (including the case).
