The Olympus AF-1 (Infinity in the US) of 1986 was the world's first weatherproof fully automatic compact camera, earning it the nickname "Nurepika" (wet flash) in Japan. It was the first in the Olympus AF series.

• Autofocus.
• Auto-exposure.
• Auto-flash.
• Focus lock button.

Other features: DX decoding, motordrive, XA-style lens protection, and a shutter speed range of 1/30-1/750 seconds. There was also a teleconverter and close-up lens available. Requires a PR-P2 6 volt battery.
