The Olympus AF-1 (Infinity in the US) of 1986 was the world's first weatherproof fully automatic compact camera, earning it the nickname "Nurepika" (wet flash) in Japan.

  • Lens: 35mm f/2.8
  • Minimum focus distance of 75cm.
  • Autofocus.
  • Auto-exposure.
  • Auto-flash.
  • Focus lock button.

Other features: DX decoding, motordrive, XA-style lens protection, and a shutter speed range of 1/30-1/750 seconds. There was also a teleconverter and close-up lens available. Requires a PR-P2 6 volt battery.
