Nokia is a maker of mobile 'phones, tablet computers and similar devices, based in Espoo, Finland. Many of Nokia's devices have incorporated digital cameras. Early 'phones had simple cameras if any; the Nokia 113, available until 2013, takes photographs in VGA format (640 x 480 pixels). Later devices are very much more ambitious. The Lumia 1020, introduced (or at least shown) in July 2013, uses a 41-megapixel PureView camera sensor, while several of the Lumia range have lenses made by Zeiss.

Late in 2013, Nokia agreed to sell its Devices and Services business to Microsoft, and that sale took effect in April 2014.[1]
