The exposure metering system supports matrix, center-weighted and spot modes. It has a metering range of 0 to 20 EV, and in spot mode 4 to 20 EV (ISO 100, f/1.4). Exposure modes include; Program mode, Aperture priority, Shutter priority, and Manual exposure. Exposure compensation can be adjusted up to 5 EV in half steps. Bracketing is also available with 3 shots in 1/2 of 1 EV. A built-in auto pop-up flash is also in the top housing it has a GN of 20. A hot shoe is also provided.

The automatic focusing system has a range of 0 to 20 EV (ISO 200). Auto focus modes include single, continuous or manual mode with a wide or spot focusing area. Autofocus can also be locked. The camera is able to use H, C and P aspect ratios. The finder has 100% coverage in H mode with 0.84x magnification (50mm lens at inf). The camera back has a rather large LCD display.
