Revision as of 08:26, 19 December 2006

Released in 2002, the Nikon D100 filled the same "prosumer" niche as Canon's D60 and Fuji's S2 Pro. It has a 6.1 megapixel sensor and the usual set of features you'd expect to find on a dSLR that costs so much. It has recently become redundant, in the opinion of many, because of the introduction of the D70, which, although costing less, offers many of the same features and even improves on a couple (1/500 flash sync speed for example).
