This is a 3-megapixel model introduced by Nikon in 2003. Nikon's early fondness for swivel-bodied digital cameras is expressed in smaller form here, with the lens/flash unit able to rotate while the user grips the section containing the 1.5" LCD and other controls. Photos are stored on Compact Flash Type I media cards. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion EN-EL2 battery.
