Updated version of the [[Nikon Coolpix 5700]] with an 8mp sensor which came out on the 28th January 2004. Except for the addition of preset modes such as 'party' and 'nightscene' it remains pretty much the same camera although it apparently suffers from some ghosting due to the sensor size.
