Nihon Shashin Kōgyō
Nihon Shashin Kōgyō K.K. (日本写真工業㈱, meaning Japanese Photo Industries Co., Ltd.) was a Japanese camera maker, run by Nozaki Masato (野崎昌人) in the immediate postwar period. It operated in a building near the Kanda station, in Tokyo.[1] In late 1946, it was developing the Orchid 6×6 SLR camera, which appeared in the press in early 1947. Nothing concretely emerged from the project, and all trace of the company is lost after that date.
This company was certainly not related to Nihon Shashin Kōgaku Kōgyōsha, which reportedly offered the Bolex in 1946.
