The French mechanician Étienne Mollier was an inventor and entrepreneur. After moving to Paris in 1899 he made developments in the field of camera shutters and others. With partners, he made a number of cameras.

Cameras

  • Petit Colibri
  • Cent Vues (c1914); viewfinder camera for one hundred 18x24mm exposures on 35mm film in special cassettes. Arranged with the film running vertically, with a folding Newton viewfinder on the top. A discussion at Collection Appareils suggests the First World War prevented production of this camera at scale until about 1924.[1]
  • Cent Vues; a second model, also for one hundred half-frame pictures on 35mm film. This camera is arranged with the film running horizontally. The discussion at Collection Appareils dates it to about 1930, but the auctioneer of the linked example gives 1926.[2]
