In 1971 the Sensorex was discontinued and followed up by the Sesorex II.

Miranda moved the aperture selector for the lightmetering system from the front to the top, right below the rewind lever. The typical design changed to a more modern look, while the exchangable viewfinders still could be used on both models. Like the former model, the II could also be used without a finder. Focussing was made easier by adding a circle with split screen.

The camera was equipped with the Miranda bayonet, but one could also screw in the older Miranda lenses which used their own M44 thread.

Some technical information:

  • ASA range from 25 to 1600
  • shutter speeds from B to 1/1000 sec.
  • match needle metering
  • flash sync at 1/60 sec.
  • exchangable viewfinders, different models available
  • TTL open aperture metering
