Minolta FS-E is a fixed-focus compact camera, largely based on the AF-E. In some countries it was sold as the "Freedom I".

It has motor drive, built-in flash and runs on common AA batteries. It uses DX-coded films from ISO 100 to ISO 1000, as well as having manual settings for ISO 100–400. Minolta sold an additional "creative filter kit" fitting both the FS-E and AF-E. It was followed by the simpler Minolta FS-E II.
