The Mamiya EF2 is a zone focus plastic viewfinder pocket camera, introduced in 1982. It features a 3 element in 3 groups 38mm f/4 Sekor lens.

In front of the single speed shutter is a 3 step waterhouse stops aperture ring with weather symbols. A CdS cell operates a warning LED for underexposure, which has only 2 settings: 100 and 400 ISO.

The flash powers on by switching the yellow knob to the side, it pops up when on. It also has a self-timer.

Battery power for flash and CdS cell is provided by 2 AA cells.
