The late Maitani Yoshihisa (谷村吉久)[1] was a famous designer working for Olympus from the 1950s. He was born in 1933 and passed away July 30th 2009.
He designed the original half frame Pen model, the Pen F half frame SLR, the OM 35mm SLR system and the XA ultra compact 35mm camera.
