Lensbabies are selective focus SLR lenses that have a sweet spot of focus with blur all around. The Lens is on a bendable tubing that can be bent with the fingers to move the sweet spot of focus around.

People who love holga or pinhole would really love this lens because of the ability to put it on a digital SLR camera and because of the direct experience of being creative as you shoot.

2 versions of the lens are currently available:

1. The Original Lensbaby - Portrait and art photographers love this lens wide open becauseit has a beautifully diffused look.

2. Lensbaby 2.0 - A sharper sweet spot, even wide open and cool levitating apertures that are easier to exchange out.

The inventor, Craig Strong, is a wedding and journalist photographer in Portland, OR. Sam Pardue, Co-CEO with Craig is the marketing master. Lensbabies, LLC is operated out of Portland, OR and began in March of 2004.
