Leica Digilux 2

The Leica Digilux 2 is a 5 megapixel digital camera introduced in December 2003.
Note: The Leica Digilux 2 and Panasonic DMC-LC1 are effectively the same camera. The layout and controls are in the same locations but differ slightly. The body shape is slightly different with the LC1 model having a raised hand grip area.
The magnesium alloy camera body has a similar look to Leica cameras of the past. It features a 5 megapixel 2/3" CCD sensor. This produces files that are 2560 x 1920 in resolution. Images can be captured in RAW, RAW+JPEG, JPEG in standard, fine and super fine. The lens is a Leica DC Vario-Summicron at 7 to 22.5mm (35mm equivalent 28 - 90 mm). It uses a EVF finder as well as a 211,000 pixel 2.5" TFT LCD screen. Media storage is by SD card.
