The Digilux was the earliest digital camera offered by Leica, in very limited numbers, dating from 1998. This is a 1.3 megapixel model with a non-zooming lens (of 35mm equivalent focal length), offering an f/3.2–f/8 aperture range.. It should not be confused with the Leica Digilux 1 dating from 2002 (which had a 4 Mp sensor and a 3x zoom). A straight-through optical viewfinder complements the 2" diag. rear LCD.

A straight-through optical viewfinder complements the 2" diag. rear LCD.

This model is presumed to be a rebadged Fujifilm MX-700.
