Krimsoflex
The Krimsoflex is an obscure 6×6 TLR, almost certainly Japanese and made in the 1950s. It is similar in most respects to the Companion, also by an unknown maker.
The one example whose photographs have been seen[1] says KRIMSOFLEX on the nameplate but does not seem to have any other marking of brand, manufacturer or distributor. The focusing and film advance knobs are on the photographer's right, the shutter release button at the bottom of the front (and to the photographer's right), a PC connector at the top of the front (and to the photographer's left) and an accessory shoe on the left-hand side plate. There is autostop film advance (there is no red window), and the focusing is done by moving the whole front plate back and forth. It seems that the serial number is engraved above the nameplate.
The camera has a pair of 8cm f/3.5 Tri-Lausar lenses, the viewing lens also marked VIEWER and the taking lens also marked ANASTIGMAT. Both have bayonet filter attachments. The shutter (B, 1–300) is marked SYNCHRO-SUPER.
