The Retina IF (type 046) is a 35 mm viewfinder camera, made by Kodak AG from 1963 to 1964. It has a coupled match-needle selenium lightmeter, a Schneider Xenar 45mm f/2.8 lens and a Prontor 50 LK shutter. It has an AG-1 flashbulb slot on the top with a folding reflector, in addition to a cold shoe.
About 37,000 pieces were made.
The Retina II FA is an improved version of the IF, with a rangefinder. The IF is very similar to the earlier Retina IBS, but has its frame-counter on the base, while the IBS has it on the top.[1]
