The Kodak Brownie Model I was a box camera for 620 roll film. It was made by Kodak Ltd. in the UK from 1957 to 1959. As a typical tin box camera it was equipped with a cheap single speed rotary shutter. The lens was a slow Kodet f/14. Of course it had also the obligatory two built-in brilliant finders, one for previewing horizontal and the other for previewing vertical shots, as was standard for box cameras for 60 years. Like other British 1950s cameras it was sold with a canvas case.

The Model I was a cheaper version of the Kodak Brownie Flash II, III and IV, without flash sync or close-up lens, and replaced the earlier Brownie Model C.
