The Heiland Research company had been acquired by Honeywell in 1954, and become their photo products division. Besides Heiland's regular flash products, the Premiere may have been the first camera offered under the brand. It is simply a 1955-type Dacora Dignette imported from Reutlingen, Germany. The camera uses scale focusing, and has a 45mm f/2.8 Steinheil Cassar lens.
