Établissements André Debrie was a camera maker in Paris, best known for cine cameras, in the first half of the 20th century. The company was founded as Établissements J. Debrie in 1898, by Joseph Jules Debrie (André's father).[1] The company was at 111-113 Rue St Maur. André took over the business in 1918. Debrie senior introduced cameras including several models of the Parvo.[2] Originally a wooden-bodied, hand-cranked camera, patented in 1908, the Parvo was made in several models, and one was bought new by Frank Hurley in 1929.[3]

The Debrie Sept is an unusual multi-functional camera which can be used for short cine sequences or for still photographs. This was not invented by Debrie, but taken over from another company.

Debrie (as CTM-Debrie) is still in business as of January 2024, making various equipment for rewinding, cleaning, and digitally scanning cine film.[4]
