Darian Shōkai[1] (ダリアン商会) was a Japanese sales company in the late 1950s. It is only known from an entry in Kokusan kamera no rekishi, itself from a column in the October 1958 issue of Sankei Camera, where it is said to have distributed the Opurīna camera for export.[2]

Notes

  1. "Darian" is merely the Hepburn romanization of the katakana ダリアン, and the actual Roman spelling of the name is unknown. The company might be called "Dalian Shōkai" instead, and might be related to the Chinese city of Dàlián, but this is merely a guess.
  2. Kokusan kamera no rekishi, p.379 (item 1142).
