The Cosina CS-1 is a manual focus 35mm SLR from Cosina. It accepts K mount type lenses.

It has a cloth focal plane shutter with speeds from 4s to 1/1000 with B. Flash sync is at 1/60 a sec. The self-timer is electronic with a delay of approx 10 sec. It features an open aperture TTL center-weighted metering system using two CdS cells, and a match-LED display (with under, over indicators). The meter has a range of 2 to 19 EV at (ASA 100), settable to film speeds from 25 to 3200 ASA. An accessory called Cosina AEC adapter, is able to add aperture-preferred automatic exposure mode by mounting onto the hot shoe, and connecting to the A terminal near the PC socket. The film transport uses a film advance lever and a rewind crank. An Cosina auto-winder accessory was also available for the camera. It uses two 1.5v SR44 batteries. A battery check feature is available with the LED indicator in the viewfinder.
