The Conway Synchronised is a box camera, very similar to others in the Standard Cameras range. It differs in that it has connectors for a synchronised flashgun.
Internally, the flash circuit is closed by a small lever attached to the shutter touching some metal pins.
Externally, the flash sockets are two ~3mm push connectors, some 4cm apart. The official user manual hints that generic flashguns may be used but it specifically recommends the use of the Coro Flash (pictured below).
