An early SLR offering from Chinon, circa 1968. Uses M42 thread-mount lenses. Vertical-traveling focal plane shutter to 1/1000 sec.

A recess at the front of the pentaprism allows for alternate nameplates and the same camera is seen rebadged by Foto-Quelle as Revueflex 1000S TTL or Revue Superflex TTL. The Porst Uniflex TTL, the Riaflex TTL, and the Prinzflex Super TTL by Dixons even retain the small Chinon badge on the front. Aside from badging this model is identical to the Ricoh Singlex TLS (even to certain images being shared between their owners manuals), a camera which itself appeared under other names.
