CSC, for "Compact System Camera" describes the class of digital cameras offering interchangeable lenses (and typically, other accessories), but which in contrast to DSLRs uses entirely electronic viewing (rather than a reflex finder). After some uncertainty how to name this class of camera (possibilities included EVIL and MILC), by 2012 CSC emerged as the term most manufacturers preferred to use.

The camera-wiki.org category Japanese digital system cameras includes many of these models.
