The Bolsey Explorer was a name variant of the Braun Gloriette, sold by Bolsey around 1955. It was a simple 35mm viewfinder camera, with lever advance, a Steinheil Cassar 45/2.8 lens, a Vero synchronized shutter from 1/25 to 1/200 and a cold shoe. The back was hinged, stamped Made in Germany in the leatherette.
It existed both in black (seen at ebay auction) or in clear leatherette.
