Despite its model designation, the Argus CC (or Colorcamera) is not at all similar to the Argus C (or its other "brick" descendants). For the CC, Argus simply took the streamlined metal body of the Argus A3 and added an uncoupled selenium meter in the top housing.

As with the A3, the actual shutter release is beside the lens; the top button which resembles one simply unlocks the film advance for winding to the next frame.
