Introduced by Ansco circa 1960, this 35mm rangefinder camera was actually manufactured by Ricoh and also sold in Japan as the Ricoh 999. An internal leaf shutter is mated to a special lens mount accepting optional 35mm or 100mm lenses, for which viewfinder framelines are included. The camera's nameplate flips up to reveal a selenium meter coupled to each lens's aperture, for match-needle exposure determination. The body has a bottom-mounted film advance, and an odd triangular shutter release. The angular styling seems aimed at the tastes of the American market.
