Introduced by [[Ansco]] circa 1960, this 35mm [[rangefinder camera]] was actually manufactured by [[Ricoh]] and also sold in Japan as the [[Ricoh 999]]. An internal leaf shutter is mated to a special lens mount accepting optional 35mm or 100mm lenses, for which viewfinder framelines are included. The camera's nameplate flips up to reveal a [[selenium meter]] coupled to each lens's aperture, for match-needle exposure determination. The body has a bottom-mounted film advance, and an odd triangular shutter release. The angular styling seems aimed at the tastes of the American market. | Introduced by [[Ansco]] circa 1960, this 35mm [[rangefinder camera]] was actually manufactured by [[Ricoh]] and also sold in Japan as the [[Ricoh 999]].
