Akita

Akita Seisakusho (秋田製作所) was a Japanese camera maker based in Tokyo, Arakawa.[1] It produced the Mycro and Mycroflex subminiature cameras in the early 1940s. (One document might suggest that the Mycro, released in 1939, was initially produced by the company Mycro-sha, maybe a predecessor to Akita.)
It is not known if the Akita company survived under that name after 1945, and the name of the Mycro's manufacturer in the postwar period is unclear. The name Mycro Camera Co. Ltd. appearing on the Mycro IIIA in the early 1950s is perhaps that of Akita's successor.
